Just Right For The Weekend!-SIPPITY Cinnamon Flavored Hot Chocolate

Posted by Southwest Beverages on 3/7/2016
“Larry, I need a favor,” my sister stated when she called me at work on Friday afternoon.

“Sure, what’s up?”

“It’s Sammy. She’s hanging out again with the wrong kids and I’m afraid of what might happen this weekend.”

“What might happen this weekend?

“It seems several of her friends are going to one of their girlfriend’s house for the weekend and I found out the girl’s parents will be out of town for both days. And we all know what happened the last time Sammy sleep over at her girlfriend’s house!” I proclaimed, referring to when Sammy was arrested for underage drinking.”

“Sure, Megan, I’ll watch her for the weekend, attitude and all. Can you do me a favor? Drop her off at my workplace since I have to work till 6 PM tonight?”

“No problem, Larry. I certainly appreciate it. What’s your work address?”

“6207 E. Spindrift Road in Madison.”

Promptly at 6 PM Larry punched out and headed for the company cafeteria to get three containers of Sippity chocolate cinnamon flavored hot chocolate. One for me to enjoy on my drive back to Milwaukee, one was for Sammy and one was for himself. He figured everyone would enjoy a nice container of chocolate cinnamon flavored hot chocolate since it was eighteen degrees out.

To make a long story short, that Friday night Sammy and my brother had a heart to heart conversation, which apparently “registered” with Sammy because for the rest of the weekend Larry told me she had a positive attitude, and was fun to be around. Larry also told me that Sunday morning they went on a long walk across snow covered Castle Rock Lake and talked some more. What was interesting this time Larry said was that Sammy initiated the conversation and asked him several times for guidance on a number of life’s matters and going back to school. When they got back to Larry’s house they talked some more this time over two mugs of Sippity chocolate cinnamon flavored hot chocolate.

“Uncle Larry, I’m glad I came to spend the weekend with you. I now understand where I want to go in life. I promise you Uncle Larry I will lose my attitude and not give Mom a hard time anymore.”

“And where is it you want to go in life?” Larry asked.

“I want to go the supermarket and buy some of this Sippity chocolate cinnamon flavored hot chocolate you’ve been giving me all weekend,” she sarcastically replied with a smile on her face.
