Everyone Will Notice-SIPPITY Pumpkin Spice Iced Hot Chocolate

Posted by Southwest Beverages on 6/6/2016

“Kendra, if you don’t mind could you please make six Sippity pumpkin spice iced hot chocolates for our meeting,” I asked my administrative assistant referring to a meeting that was to begin in ten minutes with a potentially, fairly large, new client.

“That’s a rather unusually drink for this time of year,” she replied.

“What do you mean? It’s 102 degrees out. I think they will appreciate it.”

“No, I meant the pumpkin spice. Pumpkin spice is usually associated with the fall.”

“Trust me, Kendra, everyone will notice and appreciate the refreshing taste of the pumpkin spiced iced hot chocolate.”

Ten minutes after my meeting had begun Kendra arrived with six glasses of pumpkin spiced iced hot chocolate on a wooden tray. No sooner had she entered the room than the CFO from the group interrupted the meeting by stating, “Humm, that smells delicious.”

“It’s pumpkin spice iced hot chocolate,” I stated. “Given how hot it is out I thought you might appreciate a cool, refreshing iced pumpkin spiced flavored hot chocolate.”

As Kendra began to hand out the glass of iced hot chocolate the president of group said, “That’s what I like about you Bill, you’re always thinking differently.”

“How’s that, Jerry?” I asked.

“Well, who would have thought to serve pumpkin spice in June.”

Once Kendra had handed out the six glasses of iced hot chocolate silence feel over the room for a good fifteen seconds as each person in the meeting room began to drink their iced hot chocolate. “Absolutely delicious,” CFO stated. “Very refreshing,” the general counsel added. “Who would have thought that pumpkin spice could taste so good in June,” the president stated.

To make a long story short, my meeting went very well and we now have a new client, which will add about eighteen percent new revenue to the company.  “I told you everyone would notice the pumpkin spice iced hot chocolate,” I stated to Kendra as I was helping her clean up the conference room.”

“Boy, were you ever right Bill.”
