Moments That Inspire-SIPPITY Iced Chocolate Raspberry Hot Chocolate

I absolutely love looking at all the flowers and plants on my deck. It not only says a lot about my house and home, but it defines me and it energizes me. I take great pride in my seasonal plantings, particularly the spring planting, after all living in New Hampshire it is the first time in nearly six months that I have had the opportunity revitalize the appearance of my deck. There’s something magical and exciting about going to the nursery, picking out your spring plants with all their glorious colors, going home and feeling the dirt on your hands as you plant your flowers and arrange your plants and watch as your deck comes to life.

All afternoon my wife, Haley, watched as I cleaned pots, filled them with soil and planted the array of flowers and plants that we had purchased earlier in the day. “The deck looks absolutely beautiful,” Haley stated just as I was making my last planting, a group of dark pink colored flowers into her favorite wicker basket. “The flowers are so beautiful.”

“It’s absolutely amazing what ten arrangements of flowers and plants can do to bring this deck back to life,” I stated to Haley when she hugged me. “I’ll be down in ten minutes. I’m going to wash up and change out of theses dirty clothes.”

Ten minutes later I returned to find a glass jar of iced chocolate raspberry hot chocolate sitting on the deck railing next to Haley’s favorite basket.  “I thought you might enjoy a nice cold jar of iced hot chocolate about now,” Haley stated somewhat startling me. “It’s your favorite. Sippity chocolate raspberry hot chocolate,” she added as she walked towards me.

For the next five minutes Haley and I walked around the deck stopping at each plant to discuss its beauty or reminiscing about good times. After we had completed our review of our plantings I turned to Harley and said while I hugging her, “You know, its moments like these that make life enjoyable. A beautiful, caring and loving wife, beautiful plants and my favorite drink, Sippity iced chocolate raspberry hot chocolate.”
